Lead Inspector Auxiliaries (BorWin5-Cadiz) (m/f/d)
As a " Lead Inspector Auxiliaries" your are situated in Cadiz at BorWin5 and manage the operational lead of the auxiliaries site inspection team (Firefighting, Process, HVA/C, Piping, means heading the team of auxiliary site inspectors, while also being part of it and acting as inspector. You create an atmosphere of co-operation , identification with the project, involvement and team spirit and act as first point of contact for dedicated tasks of the entire auxiliary site team Additionally you organize and perform regular and irregular site inspections (partially on random base), quality checks, surveillance and supervision, attendance of quality walks, official inspections and acceptance tests You are responsible for regular reporting and communication within the project team, close to identification and follow-up of severe deficiencies and issues of highest attention You ensure a proper documentation of findings and deficiencies (e. g. Inspection Reports, Observation Notes and List of open Points, etc.) while monitoring and oberving the improvement and repair of findings and deficiencies, follow up and ensuring the closure of open points and corrections Another important part of your tasks is creating a common safety culture within the team and towards the (sub-)contractors and ensuring adherence to Contractor's, TOG's and the project Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) procedures and maintaining a safe working environment
You bring a degree in mechanical or marine engineering or comparable While providing a minimum of 5 years of professional experiences as site manager, inspector or comparable you possess leadership skills for impactful communication with the team and contractor Experiences in operation of auxiliary systems ( Process, HVA/C Firefighting) as well as knowledge of relevant German codes and standards in the field of responsibility are a plus You bring good verbal and written expressiveness, fluent written and spoken technical English Your forces are a quick perception in new IT systems as well as a s tructured way of working, being well organized and you bring a high contact and team capability and work independent and self-initiative
