Specialist Sustainability / ESG (m/w/d)
Ongoing further development, implementation and introduction of the international sustainability strategy and associated activities in the VSB Group
Comprehensive support for the topic of ESG/CSR and main contact person within the entire VSB Group
Devising internal and external communication measures to position VSB
Sustainability reporting in line with the Global Reporting Initiative
Overseeing the portfolio of ESG related projects inside the company and ensure progress
Recording and reporting our current performance in the field of ESG, specification of ESG targets and definition of further relevant KPIs
Preparing the VSB Group's carbon balance sheet as well as defining and implementing targeted reduction measures
Devising and implementing workshops and training programmes for managers and employees
Degree in economics and management science, environmental management or a related field.
Extensive experience as an ESG consultant and/or in leading corporate ESG initiatives
At least 2 years of experience in CSR/sustainability in companies, e.g. in a CSR/sustainability department or as a consultant for corporate sustainability
Knowledge of current legal compliance requirements and reporting standards in the area of sustainability (GRI, UN CG, EU taxonomy, CSRD, etc.)
You are enthusiastic and passionate about guiding businesses towards sustainability
An independent, highly structured approach to work
Strong project management skills
Team spirit and highly willing to assume responsibility
Strong communication skills in German and English; another language would be an advantage
Proficient in the standard MS Office applications
